Oooops..
Hohoho after a longggg absence.. I think I'll try another attempt to write. Let me just finish the Japan tour (after 1 year delay). ~_~
Day 3 Awara - Takayama
Date: 13th August 2007
Went to a pottery making region and brought a cute and pretty soya sauce holder (with Sakura patterns on it). The next visit is unforgettable! It's Kagahan, a city of desserts where 1000 kind of Japanese sweet treats are made and the best part is, we can taste them for free! Hohohoho. Then we proceeded to Tojimbo to view the sea and the rocks. This place is famous as a suicide spot though. We also went to Kenrokuen, 1 of the 3 great gardens of Japan, best viewed in Spring, Autumn and Winter. There were only greens and more greens during the summer. The 2 next stops were very traditional Japanese village, Shirakawa-go and Takayama. Such a peaceful, beautiful and clean village!! I don't mind visiting this place again.
Day 4 Takayama - Mt Fuji
Date: 14th August 2007
Ramen Ramen Ramen!!! Off we went to Ramen House~~ Bought some ramens as souvenirs too ^^. After that we went to Mt Norikuradake supposedly to experience the summer snow, but it all melted totally! One of the hottest summer I presume. So we went to see the waterfall caused by the melted snow instead. Beautiful scenery, so no regrets there. Then, at last, Mt Fuji!!!!! I sooo totally wanted to try the Onsen, and yet my guts failed me again. Sobsss..
Day 5 Mt Fuji - Tokyo
Date: 15th August 2007
We visited the 1300 year-old Asakusa Kannon Temple which means more charms for me!! hehehehe. The next stop is the stop we've been waiting for.. Odaiba Park, a shopping district with places like Palette Town, and Venus Fort Shopping Mall. What's the best part about this place?? It's the Burberry Blue Label!!!!! OMG!! The prices are soooo affordable we lost control!!! Ended up with 4 bags and a shirt in the end. But we're oh so glad!! hehehe. At the ground level, there's a Pet Heaven as well!!! Oh JOY!! Sweet doggies everywhere!! I LOVE this place!!
Day 6 Tokyo
Date: 16th August 2007
Tokyo Disneyland!!!!!!!! It's really huge and happening!! Though we didnot try any ride except the Alice cup ride since the queue is sooo longgg..!! It so happened that it coincides with the summer holiday. One full day is not even enough to cover each and every parts. Around evening time, there were some entertainment shows, and we managed to get the very front seat =D. Would love to try the DisneySea next time.
Day 7 Tokyo - Singapore
Date: 17th August 2007
Time to bid Japan good bye~~~ Had a wonderful time there. Would have been even better if only my family went without anyone tagging along. Oh well, there's always a second time =D. ehhehe.. Home Sweet Home.
